Wests Tigers hooker Tallyn Da Silva has confirmed his departure from the club and signed a four and a half year contract with the Parramatta Eels, effective immediately.
Hailing as one of the best young players in rugby league, Da Silva had become highly sought-after and was linked to at least four rival NRL teams over the past few months.
His future with the Tigers was questioned, leading the club to grant him permission to negotiate with other teams before he officially hit the open market on November 1.
His agreement with Parramatta ensures he will stay with the Eels until the end of the 2029 NRL season.
The Eels successfully outbid teams including the Manly Sea Eagles, Newcastle Knights, and North Queensland Cowboys for his services.
