Ryan Sutton has been named to make his return to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs line-up as they prepare to take on the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium on Sunday afternoon, according to bulldogs.com.au.

The lock forward, aged 28, is set to rejoin the starting pack just in time to face his former team after missing Round 24 due to an injury.

Liam Knight, the newest recruit, will make his first start in the blue and white jersey, while Corey Waddell will also be starting in place of Jacob Preston, who has accepted an early guilty plea and will be absent for the next two matches.

Raymond Faitala-Mariner, the club captain, will be returning from injury and will join the interchange bench alongside Kyle Flanagan, Luke Thompson, and Tevita Pangai Junior.
