Suaalii kicks off new chapter in Union career

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Joseph Suaalii, a former Sydney Rooster, has officially hung up his league boots after a tough loss in the preliminary finals to Melbourne last Friday.

The young gun made headlines earlier this year when he signed a whopping $5 million deal to switch to rugby union and join the Waratahs in 2025.

The Wallabies had a bumpy ride in the recent Rugby Championship, only managing to snag one win out of six matches, leaving fans hungry for more.

With the upcoming Spring Tour on the horizon, Suaalii is gearing up to face tough competition against England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

Despite being relatively new to the union scene, Suaalii has already been making waves with his bold statements to the media about his role within the team.

It looks like this rising star is ready to tackle whatever challenges come his way on the rugby field.
