Stuart Frustrated by Match Officials' Calls

‘It’s hard to cheer’: Ricky fumes at no try call amid ‘completely different’ rules in Raiders win

Ricky Stuart expressed his frustration regarding several decisions and the ruck interpretation during the Raiders' 26-22 win over the Storm in Round 7.

Despite the Raiders holding a 12-0 lead, a denied try to Hudson Young for an accidental off-side left fans questioning the fairness of that call.

"What stands out to me is after the back end of the season last year, it's very hard to cheer after a try," Stuart mentioned during the post-match press conference.

"I find it myself, I used to go off like a bloody idiot, scoring tries and whatnot. Unless it's an intercept or whatnot, it's hard to cheer because you think, oh well okay, was he onside? Did he hit him high? I mean, I suppose that's what the bunker's there for."

When asked about his thoughts upon seeing the no try call for Hudson Young, Stuart didn't hold back.

"Negativity," he stated bluntly.
