Melbourne Storm's up-and-coming Harold Matthews and SG Ball squads are gearing up for a trans-Tasman showdown this weekend against the Warriors in New Zealand.

The young guns are looking to put last week's loss to the Manly Sea Eagles behind them and come out swinging.

Fullback Tyrell Wivenhalom, who found the try line in the previous match, will be crucial in leading the charge.

Halfback duo Jeriah Papatua and Max Tokava will be looking to orchestrate some attacking brilliance on the field.

The front row is anchored by Levi Kanongataa at hooker, with Malachai Taupau providing some brute force at prop and Anaias Teao holding down the fort at lock.

With their sights set on victory, the Storm youngsters are ready to show what they're made of on the rugby league battlefield.

It's going to be a game filled with blood, sweat, and hopefully some tries as they aim to stamp their authority and make their mark on the competition.

Time to ride the storm, boys!
