Stefano Utoikamanu has spilled the beans on the rollercoaster ride he's been on lately, explaining why he's decided to part ways with the Tigers.

The powerhouse prop, known for his fierce tackles and unstoppable runs, is keeping his options open for 2025, considering offers from both the Storm and the Bulldogs.

Despite a lucrative five-year contract extension tempting him to stay put, Utoikamanu was determined to spread his wings and push himself to new heights in his game.

The drawn-out negotiations for the deal ended up throwing a spanner in the works for his 2024 season, leaving him itching for a fresh start.

While the allure of working under the legendary Craig Bellamy in Melbourne has its appeal, the big decision weighs heavily on Utoikamanu as he considers the impact on his close-knit family, who are firmly rooted in Sydney.

The Bulldogs, with their own storied history in the game, seem to be in pole position to secure his signature.

"I'll make my choice real soon," Utoikamanu shared while cradling his little one post-game after a high-scoring clash with the Cowboys.

"I haven't nailed down my next move just yet, but I trust that wherever I end up, I'll thrive alongside my family.

"We've sat down as a team at home, but the final call is still up in the air.

Both options on the table look mighty tempting, so we're gonna huddle up tomorrow and weigh the options."

In the game of Rugby League, making tough calls off the field can be just as challenging as facing down opponents on it.

But Utoikamanu is determined to find the right fit for his future, ready to tackle whatever comes his way with grit and determination.
