
The NSW Blues and Queensland Maroons have officially announced their player line-ups for Game 2 of the State of Origin series, set to take place in Melbourne.
Following a comeback victory in the first match, coach Laurie Daley has made some significant changes, dropping Matt Burton and Jacob Saifiti from the squad.
Mitchell Moses returns as the five-eighth, alongside Payne Haas, who will take on a prop position, while Isaiya Katoa joins as the 21st man in a 21-player roster.
Ethan Strange has been shifted to the bench, making way for Mark Nawaqanitawase, who steps in for Stephen Crichton, sidelined due to a shoulder injury. Casey McLean will take Crichton's starting role.
Haumole Olakau'atu has also been moved to the 20th man, allowing Dylan Lucas to make his debut in the second-row.
On the other side, Queensland has made adjustments by bringing back Reece Walsh and Murray Taulagi to the bench, replacing Ezra Mam and the injured Gehamat Shibasaki.
Additionally, with Patrick Carrigan unavailable, Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has been added to the bench. Briton Nikora will take the field in the second-row, Reuben Cotter will transition to lock, and Max Plath returns to the bench.
