Braith Plecas has agreed to remain with the Dragons until the conclusion of the 2027 season.
The forward has led St George Illawarra's Jersey Flegg team as captain from lock during an impressive campaign.
The Dragons finished first in the regular-season standings and will meet the Bulldogs in Week 3 of the finals, with Plecas still central to their title push.
His progress also earned a NSW Cup debut against the North Sydney Bears in Round 21.
He was selected again the following week against the Sydney Roosters, contributing during a 20-minute appearance.
In the Dragons' 24-20 win, Plecas recorded a try assist, line break, tackle break and 11 tackles.
The new deal follows his move to Athletes Future management in May, with the agency helping finalise his future only months later.
After building experience through the pathways system and NSW Cup, Plecas will now aim to keep developing towards a long-term NRL opportunity.
