CODE Sports reports that Seattle Seahawks have signed Reece Walsh as an ambassador to expand the Brisbane Broncos star's profile in the United States.

Unveiled last week, the 24-year-old attended the NFL opener between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams at Melbourne's MCG.

The partnership will promote Seattle in Australia while targeting an American audience of more than 300 million people.

Walsh is already highly marketable in Australia, but his management believes he can become a global sporting personality.

Nash Dawson negotiated the deal during his nine-month NRL suspension over a 2024 altercation with agent Chris Orr outside a Port Macquarie pub.

Dawson's suspension expires Friday.

Walsh is recovering from ankle surgery after a difficult 2026 season, having played only a limited role despite winning the 2025 Clive Churchill Medal.

Broncos coach Michael Maguire expects his return to top form next year, while Kangaroos coach Kevin Walters has not ruled him out of the upcoming World Cup.
