The Cronulla Sharks, a rugby league club known for its commitment to player development, are inviting interested players to apply for trials for their Matthews Cup and SG Ball squads for the upcoming 2024 Junior Representative season.
After a successful 2023 season, where the Matthews Cup team reached the under-17's Finals and several SG Ball players moved up to the Jersey Flegg team, the Sharks are determined to continue their success in the junior rep competitions next year.
To participate in the trials, players must submit a nomination form, but this does not guarantee selection.
Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further details about the trial, including the time, venue, format, and what to bring on the day.
All information will be sent via email, so it is crucial for potential trialists to ensure their contact details are correct on the application form.
The trial dates, subject to change, are scheduled for Thursday, September 14 for the Harold Matthews Cup (U17s) and Saturday, September 16 for the SG Ball (U19s) trial.
Interested players must submit their applications by Thursday, September 7 for Harold Matthews Cup and Friday, September 8 for SG Ball.
