In a thrilling game that had fans on the edge of their seats, the Cronulla Sharks emerged victorious in the Harold Matthews Cup.

Callum Grantham, with nerves of steel, sealed the deal for his team with a clutch field goal at the death, securing a narrow 19-18 win over the Raiders.

This victory was a much-needed boost for the young Sharks, as it was their only junior reps victory in round three.

Despite trailing by 12 points early on, the boys in blue showed great determination and fought their way back into the game, displaying the heart of true champions.

It was not an easy match, marred by errors and scrappiness, but the Cronulla players never gave up.

Harold Matthews coach Brad Kelly commended his team's resilience in staying in the contest.

Ultimately, it was the boot of Grantham that made the difference.

His accurate conversion kicks and his game-winning field goal in the 58th minute were instrumental in securing the victory.

Unfortunately, the SG Ball Sharks were not as fortunate, suffering a 34-18 defeat to Canberra.

The under-19 Sharks struggled to catch up to the Raiders, falling behind by 18 points early in the game.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn't close the gap, leaving them with a disappointing 1-2 record.

It was a tough day for the Sharks, with losses in the women's team and the previously unbeaten Tarsha Gale side as well.
