Sharks forward Toby Rudolf is facing a tough injury blow after the team's loss to the Wests Tigers.

The fan favorite was forced to leave the field on crutches and in a moon boot, with fears of a syndesmosis injury looming large.

Rudolf, known for his tough playing style and never-say-die attitude, was taken out of the game by a hard tackle from Englishman John Bateman.

The incident left him feeling sore and uncertain about the extent of his injury.

As the Sharks brace themselves for potential bad news, they are also dealing with injuries to Royce Hunt and Dale Finucane.

Hunt injured his calf during warm-ups, while Finucane failed a Head Injury Assessment.

Despite the setbacks, Rudolf remains hopeful but cautious about his ankle injury.

"It didn't feel great," he admitted.

"But we'll just have to wait and see what the scans reveal.

It's all part of the game - you have to take the good with the bad."

As the team navigates these challenges, they are drawing on their resilience and team spirit to push through adversity and come out stronger on the other side.

With the season in full swing, every setback is an opportunity for growth and learning in the fast-paced world of Rugby League.
