In Round 13 of the NRL Telstra Premiership, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles were defeated by the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks, with a final score of 28-22 at Ocean Protect Stadium.

Blayke Brailey, returning from Origin, displayed incredible speed, navigating through the defense to assist rookie half Niwhai Puru in reaching the try line.

In the 12th minute, Manly's Jackson Shereb was temporarily sidelined for a HIA but later returned to contribute.

Manly finally got on the scoreboard in the 22nd minute when Clayton Faulalo scored, marking his fifth try in six games.

Despite Reuben Garrick's inability to convert, Manly trailed closely at 8-4 following a clever play involving Jason Saab.

The Sharks extended their lead with a second try in the 32nd minute, taking advantage of a series of set restarts.
