The Sharks have locked in the promising fullback talent Liam Ison for another two years, extending his contract until the end of 2027.
Hailed as one of the rising stars of the game, Ison made a splash this season after making the move from the Penrith Panthers to join the Sharkies.
Starting off in the Jersey Flegg, Ison quickly worked his way up through the ranks to the NSW Cup before finally earning his spot in the NRL.
Stepping in for the suspended Will Kennedy in Round 21 against the North Queensland Cowboys, Ison didn't disappoint in his debut at fullback.
With his eyes set on cementing his place in the starting lineup, Ison will be looking to challenge Kennedy for his spot on the field in the coming seasons.
This young gun is definitely one to watch as he continues to make his mark in the NRL arena.
