Sezer sidelined for four matches after Bulldogs clash

Judiciary: Round 9 vs Bulldogs

Wests Tigers have been hit with some bad news following their recent clash with the Bulldogs, with halfback Aidan Sezer copping a four-game suspension for a Grade 3 Dangerous Contact charge.

This means he'll be sitting out games against the Knights, Dolphins, Cowboys, and Dragons - a tough blow for the Tigers to swallow.

Sezer's hip drop tackle on Josh Curran was deemed worthy of the hefty suspension, made worse by the fact that it's his third offence.

It's a tough break for the young playmaker, but he'll have to cop it on the chin and learn from his mistakes.

On the flip side, David Klemmer and Alex Seyfarth have managed to escape with fines for their Grade 1 offences.

Klemmer's $3000 fine for dissent and Seyfarth's $1500 fine for striking will still hurt the hip pocket, but at least they'll be available for the Tigers' next match against the Knights in Tamworth.

It's a mixed bag of results for the Tigers on the disciplinary front, but they'll have to regroup and come out firing in their next game.

As they say in the world of Rugby League, it's all part of the game and they'll need to show some true grit to bounce back from this setback.
