Dragons enforcer Hame Sele has been forced off the paddock and sent to the sheds with a serious health concern during the Dragons' tussle with the Bulldogs.

The big man, who was giving it his all in the trenches, will play no further part in the battle after 21 minutes of hard yakka.

According to reports from the folks at zerotackle.com, Sele's engine just couldn't keep up with the fast pace of the game, leading to an irregular heartbeat that required immediate attention.

This news has left Dragons fans feeling as deflated as a kicked footy on a windy day.

Fox League's sideline General, Candace Warner, delivered the grim update on Sele's condition with all the solemnity of a war-time dispatch.

"Hame Sele has been subbed off by the medical team due to an irregular heartbeat," she stated.

"He's been whisked off to the infirmary, ending his night on the field."

As the Dragons continue to fight tooth and nail against the Bulldogs, they'll be hoping for good news on Sele's health.

After all, in the game of footy, sometimes the toughest battles are fought off the field.
