The Dolphins have secured an essential play-making asset by signing halfback Brad Schneider to a one-year deal, as reported by dolphinsnrl.com.au.

Currently with the Panthers, Schneider will join the Dolphins for pre-season training in November as he prepares for the 2026 NRL season.

With a calm approach and exceptional kicking skills, Schneider has been honing his abilities while playing behind renowned halfback Nathan Cleary, a key player for the NRL premiers.

The 24-year-old made his NRL debut in 2021 with the Canberra Raiders and has accumulated 39 NRL match appearances, including 12 this season with the Panthers.

In 2023, Schneider gained valuable experience during a successful tenure with Hull Kingston Rovers in the English Super League. He played a vital role in elevating the team from eighth place in 2022 to a semi-final spot and competing in the Challenge Cup Final.

Dolphins' chief executive Terry Reader stated that Schneider would enhance the depth of the club's roster.
