Melbourne Storm fullback, Ryan Papenhuyzen, has addressed rumors that he is being "shopped around to a rival club," expressing his determination to prove his doubters wrong.

Despite being a fan favorite, Papenhuyzen has been plagued by injuries in recent years, limiting his game time to just 30 matches over three seasons.

Melbourne has stood by him during his injury-riddled period, but his future with the club now hangs in the balance.

While Papenhuyzen acknowledges that if Melbourne decides to move him on, it would be part of the business, he sees it as motivation to come back stronger and prove them wrong.

He firmly believes in his value to the club, stating, "I know what I have to offer and if they don't see it, then they don't see that.

But I know plenty of people who do."

Despite the competition for his position, with Sua and Meaney playing well, Papenhuyzen remains confident that once he returns to playing, the reports of him being shopped around will dissipate.

He sees it as a natural part of the game and business, but it only gives him more drive to prove his worth.

Papenhuyzen's determination and self-belief are evident in his words as he states, "I've just got to keep doing what I need to do to get back and play, and I'm confident that when I do get back, those reports will go away." He remains focused on his comeback and is ready to silence his critics with his on-field performances.
