The Sydney Roosters have punched their ticket to the NRL preliminary finals after a commanding display against the Manly Sea Eagles on Saturday evening at Allianz Stadium.
Manly were caught off guard right from the start, with centre Tolutau Koula sustaining a concussion with what was swiftly deemed Category 1 symptoms by the independent medical staff.
Lock forward Jack Trbojevic also found himself sidelined in the following play, but after passing his HIA with Grade 2 symptoms, he was able to make a triumphant return to the field.
Despite Trbojevic's comeback, the Roosters managed to break through for the first try of the match, with Victor Radley crossing over ominously in the 11th minute.
The Roosters maintained their dominance, extending their lead to 14-0 with a penalty goal and a try from James Tedesco right before the half-hour mark.
The Roosters were in total control of the game, displaying their skill and determination on the pitch.
With this impressive performance, the Roosters have firmly cemented themselves as a force to be reckoned with as they march towards the grand final.
Their blend of precision and power on the field proved too much for the Sea Eagles to handle, leaving the Roosters victorious and one step closer to rugby league glory.
