Roosters to remain on Central Coast

In a move that can only be described as a "try-scoring beauty," the Sydney Roosters have announced that they will be remaining on the Central Coast for the foreseeable future.

The Roosters and Rugby League Central Coast (RLCC) have inked a 5-year extension to their existing agreement, which has been in place since 2017.

This decision is sure to be a game-changer for the growth of Rugby League on the Central Coast, where nearly 7000 players call home - making it the second-largest player base in NSW.

The extension of this partnership will only serve to strengthen the elite player pathways that the Roosters have been developing under the Central Coast Roosters banner for the past 8 years.

GM Football programs Craig Walker and RLCC Chairman, Nathan Waugh, were caught on camera exchanging the signed agreement at the junior league grand finals last Saturday.

It was a moment that could only be described as a "grand final-winning kick."

Excitement is building among both the Sydney Roosters and RLCC as they look forward to a future filled with positive growth in all aspects of the game.

This extension is a true testament to the dedication and passion of both organizations, and is sure to leave fans saying, "Fair dinkum, this is gonna be a ripper of a ride!"
