The Roosters faced the Canberra Raiders in four matches on Saturday, winning three and maintaining their lead in the Under 19s tables.
Defending champions Sydney Roosters extended their winning streak to 13 games with a commanding 56-0 win over the 9th placed Raiders at Mascot Oval, leading 24-0 at halftime.
The team scored a total of 10 tries, with eight coming from their back line and the rest from interchange forwards Ryan Tukapua and Agapetos Lote-Felo, who returned after five weeks off. Right winger Bastion Armstrong notched his second consecutive hat trick, bringing his total to eight tries in four games. Additionally, both Jeziah Papa and Joshua Fesolai scored doubles, while fullback Zaylen Ekapati filled in for the injured Rex Bassingthwaite, contributing a try.
The Roosters' defense has been impressive, allowing only 35 points this season, averaging less than 6 points per game. This reflects the coaching values of Boyd Cordner and enhances their chances for back-to-back titles.
Currently in 1st place, the Roosters will face the 11th placed North Sydney Bears at Kenthurst on Saturday at 11:30 am.
Meanwhile, the Central Coast Roosters had a bye and are positioned 17th on the table, set to play against the 14th placed Illawarra Steelers in Woy Woy on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
