Sydney Roosters & Iona College Announce Three-Year Partnership

The Sydney Roosters and Iona College have established a three-year partnership aimed at enhancing sporting excellence and fostering community engagement.

This collaboration builds on their relationship that began in 2024 and creates a direct pathway for Iona College students to join the Sydney Roosters' Queensland Academy.

Iona College, a prestigious Catholic boys' school managed by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, is known for its strong academic and sports programs, boasting a rich rugby league heritage and excellent facilities at its Lindum campus.

As part of the agreement, Iona College will grant the Sydney Roosters scheduled access to its sports facilities.

In return, the Roosters will provide academy and development staff to bolster Iona College's rugby league and High-Performance Sport initiatives, along with their Queensland Academy programs.

The partnership will also include extensive upskilling and professional development opportunities for Iona's coaches.

Roosters coaches will conduct specialized training sessions for Iona's rugby league teams, ensuring that students benefit from elite mentoring as they hone their skills and enhance their understanding of the game.
