After a brief stint in the NSW Cup, Sunia Turuva has bounced back and reclaimed his spot in the starting lineup for the Penrith Panthers.

The young winger is now setting his sights on another premiership victory.

The Panthers have always thrived on finding motivation in the finals, and this year it's all about honoring their departing players.

Turuva, along with his teammate Jarome Luai, will be heading to the Wests Tigers next season, while star front-rower James Fisher-Harris is off to the Warriors due to salary cap constraints.

Throughout the years, Penrith has bid farewell to key players like Stephen Crichton, Viliame Kikau, and Api Koroisau, all of whom have left with premiership titles to their names.

Turuva acknowledges the significance of this season for him, Luai, and Fisher-Harris as they embrace the "last ride" mentality.

"We try not to get too caught up in the emotions of it all, but Romey, Fish, and I are embracing this final journey together," Turuva explained.

"We're determined to leave here with a ring."

Despite a rollercoaster season, Turuva's resilience has shone through.

The former Dally M Rookie of the Year found himself in reserve grade temporarily, where he played a crucial role in helping the team secure vital wins against tough opponents to secure a spot in the top five.

As the Panthers gear up for their premiership campaign, Turuva is ready to give it his all and lead his team to glory once again.
