The Canberra Raiders are actively seeking a replacement for Jamal Fogarty, who will join the Manly Sea Eagles at the end of the season.

Reports from zerotackle.com indicate that although Ethan Strange and Ethan Sanders are the team's long-term halves combination, the club is looking for an experienced half to mentor the young duo.

Coach Ricky Stuart has confirmed to The Canberra Times that Jake Clifford from the North Queensland Cowboys is a target for the Raiders.

Additionally, the team is monitoring Lachlan Ilias from the St George Illawarra Dragons, who has mostly played in the NSW Cup during his tenure at the club.

Should Clifford make the move to Canberra, it is expected to be on a two-year contract.
