In a recent statement, the Canberra Raiders coach for The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup, Brock Shepperd, ignited excitement among fans as he expressed his belief that the 'Green Machine' could soon mirror the success of the formidable Penrith Panthers.

Shepperd, who has a strong coaching background in Penrith's pathways system, sees a promising youthful revolution brewing in the nation's capital.

Taking charge of the Raiders NSW Cup side in 2024, Shepperd has high hopes for a team that finished fourth last season, while their other Cup teams achieved respectable results.

Interestingly, Shepperd was initially slated to coach the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles, but the Raiders swooped in and presented him with a more enticing, longer-term opportunity.

With this injection of fresh coaching talent, the Raiders could be poised to make their mark and create a new legacy in Rugby League history.
