Rabbitohs' squad thins as injuries loom large

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are facing an increasing injury crisis, with two more players sidelined as they prepare for their upcoming match against the Cronulla Sharks.

This season has seen a staggering injury toll, and the team could be without up to 14 of their Top 30 players next weekend.

To fill these gaps, the Rabbitohs might have to rely on part-time players from the NSW Cup or the QLD Cup affiliate, the Townsville Blackhawks.

The recent injuries occurred during Friday night's match against the Penrith Panthers, with Keaon Koloamatangi and Peter Mamouzelos sustaining injuries.

Additionally, Latrell Mitchell also faced an injury during a captain's run, which may potentially rule him out for the rest of the season, although there is a possibility of his return.
