Pressure Mounts: Ciraldo's Comment on Bulldogs

Make no mistake. Cameron Ciraldo is a man under pressure on the run into the finals.

There was a time this year when pressure seemed absent for Bulldogs players, staff, and fans.

They kicked off the season with six consecutive wins, faced a setback against the Broncos, and quickly rebounded with three more victories.

At one point, they enjoyed a record of nine wins out of their first ten games, leading the premiership standings by a significant margin at the conclusion of Round 11.

The team thrived on a strong collective mentality, prioritizing defense, and showcased effective discipline in an attack guided by Toby Sexton and Matt Burton, making them favorites for the championship.

However, discussions began circulating.

Speculation arose about Lachlan Galvin potentially joining the club, and concerns emerged regarding Toby Sexton, the top-performing halfback, possibly not being re-signed-or even being benched before season's end.
