In a surprising twist, Tevita Pangai Junior, known for his powerful performances on the field, is reportedly set to shake things up by heading south to France to play in the English Super League.
This move comes after Pangai Junior decided to hang up his boots at the end of the 2023 NRL season, putting an end to his less-than-stellar time with the Canterbury Bulldogs.
During his time in the NRL, Pangai Junior struggled to find his groove in Sydney and ultimately fell out of love with the game, despite his impressive debut for the New South Wales Blues in State of Origin.
However, his retirement was short-lived as he recently made a comeback with the Dolphins.
With a contract extending until 2024, Pangai Junior was rumored to be making a comeback to Sydney to join forces with Wayne Bennett at the Rabbitohs in 2025.
But it seems like the forward has opted for a change of scenery, deciding to take on a new challenge in the Super League.
This move is sure to keep fans on their toes as they eagerly await Pangai Junior's next chapter in his rugby league journey.
