Jack Bostock has dismissed rumors connecting him to other teams, affirming his intention to continue with the Dolphins after his current contract.
His contract with the Dolphins runs through the end of the 2027 season, allowing him to negotiate with other teams starting November 1 of this year.
Despite this timeline, the 23-year-old is hopeful for a new agreement before that date, sharing that conversations about an extension have commenced.
"I've been talking to the Dolphins here with the club trying to sort out something, so I'm sure we'll be sorting that out soon," he stated in an interview with the NewsWire.
Last week, speculation around Bostock increased, particularly reports linking him to the Newcastle Knights.
Newcastle is currently trying to keep star centre Bradman Best, and if he leaves, Bostock has been mentioned as a possible successor.
Nonetheless, Bostock seems committed to staying in Redcliffe.
"I don't really listen to that stuff. I try to stay off my phone with all that footy stuff," he remarked to the NewsWire.
"I'm happy to be on my phone on socials and talking to mates and stuff, but I try to stay off all the footy stuff and just don't read into any of it."
