The group, which includes O'Farrell, Michelle McDowell, Annabelle Williams, and Charlie Viola, was exploring their options on Thursday, although most were anticipated to come back.
The Holman-Barnes Group holds the NRL license for the Wests Tigers and owns 90 percent of the club.
For the past week, the NRL had been contemplating intervention and investigating the ongoing political unrest within the club.
A board meeting is scheduled for Monday, where discussions about the future structure of the board will be a top priority.
This situation is not expected to influence CEO Shane Richardson's impending resignation on Monday, as he will not be returning.
