The NSWRL has announced the teams for the senior representative rugby league matches scheduled for this weekend.
Head Coach Brett Morris has revealed his lineup, currently positioned 6th in the competition, to face 9th place Western Suburbs at Wentworth Park on Sunday, with the match set to start at 2:45 PM.
The club will be without key Cup squad members Blake Steep (knee) and Brooklyn Heath (ankle) due to injuries. Additionally, Cody Ramsey, Tommy Talau, and Egan Butcher are on the Roosters NRL bench, making them unavailable for the same-day NSW Cup match.
While Ramsey did not compete in the NSW Cup last Friday after stepping in for James Tedesco in the NRL, Egan Butcher and Tommy Talau did participate, necessitating replacements. Jaxson Rahme returns to the lineup at lock, substituting for Butcher, while a replacement for Talau at right centre is still pending.
Junior Pauga's status remains uncertain, and Rex Bassingthwaighte, listed as the 20th man for the NRL team, may also be added later in the week. The final team will be confirmed at 1:45 PM on Sunday.
No other alterations have been made to a team that has won six of their last seven matches, keeping their hopes for finals qualification alive.
