Bradman Best believes Newcastle's finals clash with the New Zealand Warriors at Auckland's Eden Park will recreate the intensity of State of Origin.
More than 40,000 Warriors supporters are expected, nearly twice the crowd that attended the teams' previous meeting at Go Media Stadium.
"I'm expecting an Origin atmosphere," Best told NRL.com.
"It's going to be pretty hostile with 40,000 Wahs fans going mad for them, but I can't wait."
The Knights lost their Round 26 encounter 46-32, but showed promise against one of the season's strongest sides.
Jacob Saifiti's 12th-minute send-off damaged Newcastle's chances, leaving Best confident his team can now challenge the Warriors with 13 players.
"I love that environment," Best said.
"It's going to be a great opportunity for us lads to go over there and do something special."
Best scored during New South Wales' 2024 Origin campaign, including the series-clinching victory over Queensland at Suncorp Stadium.
He also approaches the match in confidence after producing a strong performance in Newcastle's win over South Sydney.
