Munster Misses Training Amid Soreness Concerns

Cameron Munster, the five-eighth for both Melbourne Storm and Queensland Maroons, missed training on Sunday.

The player is experiencing some soreness but is expected to be fit for the upcoming Origin 1 on Wednesday.

Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui spoke with the media about Munster's absence from practice.

With a lighthearted tone, he delivered a humorous response to inquiries regarding Munster's situation.

"Yeah, I think he's getting old," he remarked, sharing a laugh with reporters.

"He's just had some soreness, and he's getting looked after."

In addition, Roosters center Robert Toia is currently undergoing concussion protocols after experiencing a category-two head injury during Magic Round.

Following safety guidelines, he is participating in light exercises that limit symptoms and is being assessed to ensure a full recovery, instead of engaging in high-contact training.

"[Rob Toia] will be okay," Fa'asuamaleaui reassured the audience.
