Melbourne's 2027 backline changes could increase Moses Leo's opportunities after Warbrick and Meaney leave for the Warriors and Perth Bears.
Melbourne Storm confirmed Leo, Hugo Peel, Stanley Huen, Trent Toelau and Jack Hetherington have signed new contracts.
Leo, Toelau and Peel are secured through 2029, Huen through 2028, and Hetherington through 2027.
Records showed Leo held a 2027 option, but Storm said the former New Zealand Rugby Sevens player added two years.
He played two NRL matches initially, then 17 in 2026, impressing during the latter campaign.
"Moses has shown impressive growth since making the switch to rugby league. Changing codes is never easy, but he's embraced the challenge and worked hard to develop his game," Director of Football Frank Ponissi said.
Isaako and Xerri soften the departures, while Leo could start if reports of Jack Howarth's exit prove correct.
Peel, the seventh Victorian to play for Storm, debuted in Round 9 and overcame a mid-season knee injury.
