The NRL's 2026 preliminary finals will be played on Friday, September 25, and Sunday, September 27.

The Dolphins will face either the Sydney Roosters or Cronulla Sharks at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

Minor premiers Penrith Panthers will meet either the New Zealand Warriors or Newcastle Knights at Accor Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Auckland semi-final between the Warriors and Knights is sold out and will be played at Eden Park this Sunday.

As in 2025, the staggered schedule means one Grand Final qualifier will have almost 48 hours' additional recovery before the October 4 decider.

According to the NRL, tickets go on sale at 10am Thursday, September 17, for Dolphins and Panthers ticketed members, non-ticketed members and NRL Account Holders.

Away-club members and the general public can buy tickets after full-time in each Week 2 match, while a separate away-members allocation will be released once that club advances.

Following criticism of Week 1 pricing and availability, preliminary-final tickets for both matches will start at $29 for adults.
