Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has delivered the news that Adam Doueihi's 2024 NRL season is officially over.

Doueihi, who made a courageous comeback from yet another ACL injury in Round 16 against the Canberra Raiders, has been a key player in the Tigers' line-up, particularly in his recent impressive displays at centre.

Despite showing glimpses of his best form in the past few weeks, Doueihi's season has been cut short due to a knee injury causing swelling.

This setback comes as a blow to the Tigers as they look to finish the season on a high note.

Marshall, speaking to the press ahead of the Tigers' upcoming clash against the Manly Sea Eagles, emphasized the importance of prioritizing player welfare and making tough decisions for the team's benefit.

Doueihi, who recently extended his contract with the club for the 2025 NRL season, will now have to focus on recovering and coming back stronger next year.
