Jersey Flegg Team List: Another tough assignment
Manly Warringah will provide yet another grueling test for the courageous NZ Warriors in Saturday's second-round Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21) showdown at Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe (12.00pm kick-off).
The Warriors are coming off a disappointing start to their campaign when they were on the receiving end of a 4-50 defeat to a dominant Canberra side in Sydney.
Their lone try of the match had them trailing by just 4-12 after 25 minutes and 4-16 behind at halftime, but the Raiders were in total command in the second half.
Needing a comeback this week, the Warriors will have to bring their A-game to compete with the Sea Eagles, who also got off to a strong start in round one with a 38-8 triumph over the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
They will have to do so without halfback Jett Cleary, sidelined this week as he follows head injury protocols after a knock to the noggin last Saturday.
