Manly prepare roster fire sale

The Perth Bears have signed winger Blake Wilson to a one-year deal, after he had one season remaining on his Sea Eagles contract.

Wilson initially joined Manly on a two-year deal after the Bulldogs let him go in 2025.

Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles are quietly making players available to rivals as they seek salary-cap room for a roster overhaul under Kieran Foran, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Foran wants to keep Tom Trbojevic and other key players, while Manly has told five-eighth Luke Brooks it will not offer him a deal for 2028.

Ben, Jake and Tom Trbojevic, Haumole Olakau'atu, Tolutau Koula and Joey Walsh have been identified as untouchable priorities.

Manly chief executive Jason King told The Daily Telegraph the club has room to extend Tom Trbojevic's contract.

The Kangaroos winger and Sea Eagles fullback remains unsigned and can speak with rival clubs; last off-season, he was strongly linked with considering Super League options.

Manly's players off contract at the end of 2027 include Luke Brooks, Hugo Hart, Lehi Hopoate, Caleb Navale, Jackson Shereb, Ben, Jake and Tom Trbojevic, and Navren Willett.
