The Manly Sea Eagles have secured a two-year contract extension for hooker Jake Simpkin, ensuring his stay at the club until the conclusion of the 2028 NRL season.

Simpkin arrived at Manly mid-season in 2024 after transferring from the Wests Tigers on a two-and-a-half-year deal and quickly became an integral part of Anthony Seibold's team.

In 2025, he participated in 22 out of 24 games, bringing his total NRL appearances to 71 over five seasons.

Coach Anthony Seibold remarked that the new contract reflects Simpkin's reliability and professionalism.

"Jake has thoroughly earned this contract extension after his most consistent season yet," Seibold said.

"His preparation for training and games is extremely thorough.

"In all the important effort areas in games, which not everyone might notice, Jake is always a high performer."
