Brisbane coach Michael Maguire, facing intense scrutiny, assured that Adam Reynolds will remain at the club for the upcoming year, though he remained vague about Reynolds' exact position.
Last week was one of the most tumultuous in the club's history, as Reynolds and Maguire had a disagreement over Reynolds' wish to have a farewell match before home supporters against the Storm last Thursday.
After initially expressing interest in playing, Reynolds changed his mind within a day, yet Maguire decided against him playing due to concerns about his troubled calf.
When asked on Wednesday if Reynolds would still have a role at the Broncos following his retirement, Maguire confirmed his employment but did not specify the responsibilities.
"We're working through what his role will be. He'll be around the club for sure. Where that's going to land, we're still working the way through that," said Maguire.
"It would be crazy not to use Reyno. He's going to be a big part, he always will be. The legacy that he's been able to leave here is pretty special."
