Isabelle Kelly and Julia Robinson are rewriting the history books on the left edge for the Jillaroos, creating a legendary duo after a bizarre incident last year during State of Origin.

According to a report by news.com.au, Jillaroos winger Julia Robinson idolized Isabelle Kelly when she first began her rugby league journey.

That's why she was filled with concern when a freak collision between the two in the State of Origin opener resulted in Kelly needing assistance off the field and a trip to the hospital after taking an elbow to the throat.

Fortunately, scans showed no major damage.

Despite being fierce rivals in the NRLW and at state level, the pair have formed a strong bond on the left edge for Australia.

Kelly dismisses any notion of holding a grudge over the incident from last year, stating, "There was no hatred from me whatsoever." She went on to explain, "Rugby league is a game where the unexpected can occur, and that collision was one of those moments."

Kelly expressed her admiration for playing alongside Robinson, emphasizing their strong connection both on and off the field.

"I love playing with Robbo.

She's my winger and we have a great rapport.

the teamwork is evident in the performance," Kelly shared from the Jillaroos camp in Leura.

As they continue to create history on the left edge, Kelly and Robinson are proving that true sportsmanship and camaraderie can overcome any past incidents on the field.
