Knoxville Jokes About Infamous Rugby Incident

Johnny Knoxville, the American star of the Jackass film series, recently made a shocking yet humorous remark regarding a notorious rugby league incident.

During an appearance on Play Kiss UK Radio, Knoxville and his fellow Jackass members were asked by co-host Chloe Burrows about potential red card offenses they might commit during this year's FIFA World Cup.

Without hesitation, Knoxville delivered an unexpected response.

"Maybe for doing 'The John Hopoate,'" he quipped.

This reference alludes to a 2001 ongoing controversy involving John Hopoate, who notoriously placed his fingers into the rear ends of three opponents from North Queensland.

As a consequence, he received a suspension lasting 12 weeks.

In a further incident, Hopoate replicated this act during the Legends of League tournament in 2017 on the Central Coast.

Knoxville described the situation humorously, stating, "He was a rugby player from Australia, and he was eventually banned from the sport for constantly f****** dudes in the game."

This offbeat explanation left the room in stitches, echoing the absurdity of Knoxville's response.
