The Knights have secured the future of their rising star, Thomas Cant, by extending his contract beyond this season.
Cant, a former captain of the Jersey Flegg Cup team, is touted as one of the top second-rowers in the club's ranks, with experience in 28 NSW Cup games.
Known for his versatility, Cant can also shine in the centres, as seen in a recent match against the Manly Sea Eagles.
Despite some defensive struggles, he displayed promise by making a whopping 170 attacking metres from 21 runs, the most for his team on the day.
With only two first-grade matches under his belt, Cant's commitment to a two-year extension shows his determination to secure a regular spot in the team.
The Knights are undoubtedly rebuilding their squad for success, and Cant's extension is a significant step towards achieving their goal.
