Former NRL forward Paul Vaughan is exploring his options to continue his rugby league career as he faces an uncertain future.

The 34-year-old has reportedly received a "sizeable offer" from the York Knights, a team in the RFL Championship, as they seek to secure his services for the 2026 season, according to zerotackle.com.

Before moving to the Super League at the end of 2022 to join the Warrington Wolves, Vaughan had a successful ten-season stint in the NRL, where he made 205 appearances for the Canberra Raiders, St.

George Illawarra Dragons, and Canterbury Bulldogs.

A standout player in his prime, Vaughan represented the NSW Blues in six matches and played two Tests for the Australian Kangaroos in 2019.

As of now, Vaughan has not finalized a contract for the upcoming season.

His potential deal with the Knights arises after he was on the brink of signing a one-year extension with the Warrington Wolves, but an agreement has yet to be reached.

The Knights are keen on bringing in the experienced forward as they look to bolster their squad for the future.
