NRL.com.au is reporting Knights notch back-to-back wins with strong performance against the Dolphins

The nib Newcastle Knights have claimed victory in their first home game of the season, defeating the Dolphins 26-12 at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The red and blue attack was firing on all cylinders in the first 40 minutes, with James Schiller scoring his first try in the Knights' colours and Captain Kalyn Ponga playing a crucial role in three tries.

Building on their Round 1 triumph, the Knights secured their second consecutive win before hitting the road to take on the Gold Coast Titans.

A brilliant line break from Bradman Best set up a slick play to the right, resulting in Schiller crossing over on the wing to open the scoring.

On the following play, Schiller bagged his second try, extending the Knights' lead even further.
