Former Rooster Joseph ready to rustle feathers in quest for glory

Brisbane forward Keilee Joseph views her upcoming matchup against 2025 Dally M winner Olivia Kernick as 'personal.' The two, who are both part of the Indigenous Women's All Stars and Jillaroos teams, will compete alongside each other in this year's Pacific Championships for Australia. However, during the Sunday match, Joseph is focused on containing Kernick, recognizing that her performance will be crucial for Brisbane as they aim for their fourth title.

Teammate Annetta-Claudia Nu'uausala also emphasized the significance of their forward battle against the undefeated minor premiers, identifying prop Rima Butler as a key player to monitor. Nu'uausala, in her fourth season with the Broncos after previous engagements with the Warriors and Knights, has a personal motivation to triumph: her older brother, Frank-Paul Nu'uausala, won the NRL grand final with the Roosters in 2013 and will be among her supporters on grand final day.
