Tui Kamikamica's time in the NRL may be coming to an end, with the forward potentially heading to the English Super League as interest within Australia diminishes.

Reports from zerotackle.com indicate that, while the Melbourne Storm would like to keep the prop, they lack the salary cap space to do so.

The Storm are already managing several expensive contracts and preparing for future upgrades to counteract the looming presence of new teams entering the league: the Perth Bears in 2027 and Papua New Guinea in 2028.

Melbourne has experienced player losses during past expansions, particularly with the arrival of the Dolphins, and they face similar challenges now.

While Kamikamica, 31, had previously been associated with potential moves to the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Brisbane Broncos, new reports suggest that those options are now unlikely.

As the Storm navigates their financial constraints and the competitive landscape, Kamikamica's future in the NRL appears uncertain.
