Melbourne Storm's Harold Matthew's and SG Ball teams faced off against Penrith in Round 6 of the Junior Representative season, while the Jersey Flegg competition kicked off with a Round 1 clash in Sydney.
The Storm team got off to a flying start, scoring an early try thanks to Max Tovaka.
Despite Penrith retaliating soon after, the purple team managed to maintain their lead with an impressive first half display, scoring four tries and heading into halftime with a 22-6 advantage.
However, Penrith staged a comeback after the break, scoring three quick tries to level the playing field at 22-22.
The game ended in a draw, with both teams earning a share of the points.
The Storm team then kicked into high gear, with Murgha scoring a hat trick to secure their fourth consecutive win of the 2025 season.
Melbourne's Jersey Flegg team will start their season with a trip to Sydney to take on the Roosters at Wentworth Park on Sunday afternoon.
