'What the bloody hell happened at Easter?': Joey Johns Easter debate shocks punters
Rugby league icons Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler have left Nine commentator Mat Thompson shaking his head in disbelief with their lack of knowledge about the Easter holiday.
In a ripper convo on their show 'Freddy and the Eighth' before the Easter long weekend footy extravaganza, the two legends stumbled upon the topic of Easter and had punters scratching their heads.
After a quick intro by Thompson, Johns delved right in, asking: "Mate, what's the biblical deal with Easter, eh?"
Fittler chimed in with his two cents: "Yep, you're not supposed to chow down on any snags on Sunday.
Actually, nah mate, it's Friday."
Johns pressed on: "But seriously, what went down back in the biblical days?"
It was a classic case of sporting personalities being caught offside outside of their usual footy domain.
Not even the biggest footy brains could tackle this one.
