Jillaroos debut Paki, Weale against England

Jocelyn Kelleher launched her international career with player-of-the-match honours in the Jillaroos' 40-0 round-one win over Samoa.

Australia face England in Perth on Saturday night, with Sariah Paki and Makenzie Weale set to debut.

Sydney Roosters premiership winner Paki will become a dual international after starring in rugby sevens, helping Australia win Commonwealth Games gold and a world title in 2022.

Weale, St George Illawarra's new recruit from North Queensland, will make her first appearance from the bench.

"We are really happy to give Makenzie and Sariah their opportunity to take to the field this week against England," Jillaroos coach Jesse Skinner said.

"They have been training well since coming into camp and have been key members of the squad, helping prepare the whole team for the challenges ahead.

"I'm excited to see the impact they'll bring off the bench, adding energy, physicality and momentum through the rotation."

Abbi Church moves onto the wing, while Julia Robinson shifts to centre for rested Jess Sergis.

Tiana Penitani Gray starts in the second row after coming off the bench against Fetu Samoa, with Kezie Apps also rested.

Cronulla and Indigenous All Stars hooker Quincy Dodd is another new face among the reserves.
